Expertise Level
For many abilities and skills, a character can spend more than a single XU (experience unit), thus specializing with that ability or skill. There are 4 levels of expertise, unlocked based on the character level.
- Novice
- Adept (unlocked at level 5)
- Specialist (unlocked at level 10)
- Master (unlocked at level 15)
The character can specialize in the following: skills, abilities and lore. Talents, techniques and spells do not have an expertise level.
For weapons, the following bonus are gained:
- 0: -10 AR, 50% dmg
- 1: +0 AR, 100% dmg
- 2: +1 AR, +1 dmg
- 3: +2 AR, +2 dmg
- 4: +4 AR, +4 dmg
For armours (non-shield), the following bonus are gained:
- 0: 50% HP
- 1: 100% HP
- 2: 125% HP
- 3: 150% HP
- 4: 200% HP
For shields, the following bonus are gained:
- 0: 50% Evasion
- 1: +0 Evasion
- 2: +2 Evasion
- 3: +4 Evasion
- 4: +6 Evasion
For spells, the following bonus are gained:
- 0: -10 CR
- 1: +0 AR
- 2: +2 AR
- 3: +4 AR
- 4: +6 AR
