Description: | Roenick's home, located on the northern outskirt of the realm of Shalème, was destroyed during an orc raid. His parents and sister were killed during the attack. While travelling to Shalème, a rogue wizard, Saldoras, came across the ruins and took Roenick under his wing. In Shalème, Saldoras did not find what he was looking forward. Together, the two traveled far into the west, until they reached the city of Telstar, where Saldoras has a small home. During their travels, the two developed a strong friendship. Recently, old age caught up with the old wizard. Roenick cared for him and inherited his home upon his passing. Saldoras taught Roenick to be careful with his magic and not use his abilities flippantly, as to not attract the attention of the Synod of Magikas. It is obvious that Saldoras was hiding some secret from his pupil over the years. Roenick has doubt that the weakness that took Saldoras' life away may not have been natural. |
