Welcome to Arvelas
Arvelas is an imagined world shaped by stories, games, and the people willing to walk its roads. For more than thirty-five years, players have taken on the roles of wanderers, schemers, survivors, and heroes. Through their choices, Arvelas has grown, shifted, and in some cases remembered them as legends.
This is a world built through collaboration and friendship. Its lore, rules, and traditions draw inspiration from many games and stories, but are ultimately shaped by the players at the table and the adventures they undertake.
If you dare, pack your traveling bag and begin your journey. You can explore Arvelas by browsing this site, discovering its rules, or reading stories set within the world.
"Remember it's a collaboration art, and everyone at the table is working together to have a good time and make some memories."
-B. Dave Walters (Dungeon Master)

To rest and recuperate, a dryad blends into an oak to which it is permanently connected, sharing both nutrients and life. The link between a dryad and its tree is akin to a destinea tree, but much stronger. If the oak dies, the dryad also dies (and vice versa).
A dryad will do everything in its power to ...
Map: Istagon
Istagon was for a long time the most prosperous of the human realms. It was ruled for the many years by the Griffiths, a line of rulers unbroken until the day Kings Town fell, in 755. The division cut Istagon in half. The province of Erlinia, to the south, became its own realm. The region to the north kept the name of Istagon and its mother city is now Tiras Lynn. The middle region, known as the Heart of Istagon, is abandoned and haunted by walking deads. Many dream of the day when King's Town is liberated and Istagon is ...
