Welcome to Arvelas
Arvelas is an imagined world shaped by stories, games, and the people willing to walk its roads. For more than thirty-five years, players have taken on the roles of wanderers, schemers, survivors, and heroes. Through their choices, Arvelas has grown, shifted, and in some cases remembered them as legends.
This is a world built through collaboration and friendship. Its lore, rules, and traditions draw inspiration from many games and stories, but are ultimately shaped by the players at the table and the adventures they undertake.
If you dare, pack your traveling bag and begin your journey. You can explore Arvelas by browsing this site, discovering its rules, or reading stories set within the world.
"Remember it's a collaboration art, and everyone at the table is working together to have a good time and make some memories."
-B. Dave Walters (Dungeon Master)

Somewhere in Arvelas: Kryma
It is said that once, long ago, the realm of Kryma was beautiful, with green lush valleys spanning between high rocky peaks. Then, it was cursed and covered in ice and snow. Not many creatures can abide the eternal cold of Kryma. The origins and cause of the curse are unknown, but the true colours of Kryma have not been seen in over two thousand years.
Glimpse: Dragons
Art © Spaceweaver Art.Regroups dragons and dragonkins.
Although elusive and rarely seen, dragons are probably one of the best known of the Ancients of Arvelas. They are creatures of incredible power and size, and directly linked to the world and one of its raw forces (element, metal, or other). Each dragon is unique.
Map: Arvanas
Arvanas is the ancient realm of the golden elves. It disappeared into oblivion about a thousand year before the Inferno, when hit by an unforgiving disease. It is said that Arvanas was a hundred time more beautiful than Quilanis. Many elves still cry at the sole mention of Arvanas.
