Welcome to Arvelas
Arvelas is an imagined world shaped by stories, games, and the people willing to walk its roads. For more than thirty-five years, players have taken on the roles of wanderers, schemers, survivors, and heroes. Through their choices, Arvelas has grown, shifted, and in some cases remembered them as legends.
This is a world built through collaboration and friendship. Its lore, rules, and traditions draw inspiration from many games and stories, but are ultimately shaped by the players at the table and the adventures they undertake.
If you dare, pack your traveling bag and begin your journey. You can explore Arvelas by browsing this site, discovering its rules, or reading stories set within the world.
"Remember it's a collaboration art, and everyone at the table is working together to have a good time and make some memories."
-B. Dave Walters (Dungeon Master)

Somewhere in Arvelas: Kryma
It is said that once, long ago, the realm of Kryma was beautiful, with green lush valleys spanning between high rocky peaks. Then, it was cursed and covered in ice and snow. Not many creatures can abide the eternal cold of Kryma. The origins and cause of the curse are unknown, but the true colours of Kryma have not been seen in over two thousand years.
Glimpse: Hydras
Art © Aerithya.Regroups hydras and hydrakins. Hydras are powerful creatures with multiple heads and large wings. They are one of the Ancients, having prospered during the third age.
Although the hydras are the nemesis of dragons, both creatures have many similarities. Like the dragons, each hydra is unique and linked to a force of the world, be it an element, a metal or other.
Map: Quilanis
The largest of the elven kingdom, Quilanis is a region of incredible beauty, known for its bright coloured trees, high waterfalls and crystalline lakes. Here, the elves live in harmony with the forest and its animals. Several races of elves call Quilanis home, including the silver and sylvan elves.
