Welcome to Arvelas
Arvelas is an imagined world shaped by stories, games, and the people willing to walk its roads. For more than thirty-five years, players have taken on the roles of wanderers, schemers, survivors, and heroes. Through their choices, Arvelas has grown, shifted, and in some cases remembered them as legends.
This is a world built through collaboration and friendship. Its lore, rules, and traditions draw inspiration from many games and stories, but are ultimately shaped by the players at the table and the adventures they undertake.
If you dare, pack your traveling bag and begin your journey. You can explore Arvelas by browsing this site, discovering its rules, or reading stories set within the world.
"Remember it's a collaboration art, and everyone at the table is working together to have a good time and make some memories."
-B. Dave Walters (Dungeon Master)

Somewhere in Arvelas: Sable
Located east of Rinshar, the region of Sable is a land of dunes and sand, low plateaus and fuming hills. Water is almost non-existent in Sable, as are trees and vegetation. Ancient pyramids and ziggurats and other ruins are scattered throughout the region, often covered in sand. Sable is a natural barrier before reaching the Iron Gate and the prison of the beast Urah.
Glimpse: Ghost
Art © Alexander Nanitchkov.Ghosts are the lingering remnants of beings who cannot depart the world of the living. Most ghosts simply wander harmlessly, lost and confused, but some harbor a strong hate for anything living and will attack on sight.

Map: Kurtor
Kurtor is a fortress made of carved rock and natural mountains. It is a grand sight, one that leaves its visitors humbled by its imposing size and incredible craftsmanship. The western dwarves call it home, living in a maze that expands both underground and above ground, in between peaks and on high plateaus. Tyr is revered and a fifty foot statue stands at the heart of Kurtor in his honour.
