Evasion

Evasion represents how difficult a character, creature or target is to hit in combat. It typically starts at -15 and may range up to +20. Higher evasion values make a character harder to strike, while lower values make them easier to hit. Evasion is applied as an adjustment to an attacker’s attack roll (AR).

Armor, Agility, and other effects may modify evasion. Some protective gear, such as heavy armor, can reduce evasion, while higher Agility generally increases it. Evasion therefore determines how easy or difficult a target is to strike.

Evasion is only applied when a character is able to move. If the character is immobile, stunned, or otherwise unable to act, a fixed value of -20 is used instead.
