Expertise Level
Expertise level represents a character’s specialization in certain abilities or skills. By spending additional experience units (XU), a character can improve beyond basic proficiency. Level 0 indicates no proficiency. There are four levels of expertise, unlocked as the character gains levels:
- Novice
- Adept (unlocked at level 5)
- Specialist (unlocked at level 10)
- Master (unlocked at level 15)
Expertise applies to skills, abilities, and lore. Talents, techniques, and spells do not have expertise levels.
Bonuses by Expertise
Weapons:
- 0: -10 AR, 50% damage
- 1: +0 AR, 100% damage
- 2: +1 AR, +1 damage
- 3: +2 AR, +2 damage
- 4: +4 AR, +4 damage
Armours (non-shield):
- 0: 50% HP
- 1: 100% HP
- 2: 125% HP
- 3: 150% HP
- 4: 200% HP
Shields:
- 0: 50% Evasion
- 1: +0 Evasion
- 2: +2 Evasion
- 3: +4 Evasion
- 4: +6 Evasion
