Bluekin

The bluekin is a small, round-bodied creature with a long, spiked tail and two prominent horns atop its head. It has large eyes and sharp lower canines protruding from its mouth. Covered in shimmering blue fur, it has two short front paws and two webbed hind paws, making it an excellent swimmer. Agile and able to leap impressive distances on land or underwater, bluekins can also shoot a jet of water when cornered. They dwell primarily on the sea floor but will surface to hunt—and sometimes attack ships.
