The caster can find magical emanations in a cone in front of her. The range is 5m and the cone has a radius of 1m at its largest point. The caster can cover an area of 90 degrees in 1 round (after which, the spell can be recast).

The spell provides the following information about the magic:

• Level of enchantment (+1 to +4)
• Element
• Status: Active or dormant

It is important to note that some protection can be added to sources of magic to hide them from this spell.
